CPR/AED/First Aid Certification   

This comprehensive 8-hour training equips you with essential lifesaving skills, including adult CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) operation, and foundational first aid techniques. Emphasis is placed on safe and effective emergency response, with practical instruction on how to assess situations, provide immediate care, and support individuals until professional help arrives. You will gain an understanding of the legal responsibilities and protections applicable to lay responders, as well as strategies for recognizing and managing stress responses -- both during and after emergency situations. Special topics covered: This course will include instruction on administering Narcan (naloxone) in opioid overdose scenarios and addresses the growing concern around fentanyl exposure. You will be directed to additional resources for further guidance on this topic. This course includes hands-on practice to build confidence and competence in real-world scenarios. Upon successful completion, you will receive a First Aid/CPR certification card valid for two years. This course meets the standards set by the American Heart Association and the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) for adult learners.
