Designing Publications

Do you need to create a newsletter, magazine, annual report or other multi-page document? What makes the difference between a good brochure and a great brochure? Learn the basic tenets for producing an appealing brochure. This class uses a combination of design theory and hands on practice using Adobe software to apply key elements of design into creation of a variety of finished products. This two-day course will include the basic elements, vocabulary and practical use for creating products for both print and web to include tips, tricks and standards of graphic design elements. Students will use Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat to complete a sample project. Please note this is not an introductory class to any of those programs.
