Producing 101

From concept to distribution, this six-week course will provide a basic understanding of what is needed to get your film not just made, but out into the world. Learn from the perspective of someone who has worked their way up every step in the ladder in the film industry. From production assistant to director to selling projects to Hulu and Shudder and every job in between, you will learn about a practical and realistic approach to making it in a difficult business where the odds are already stacked against you. Breaking the process down into six stages taught over six classes sets you up with a solid game plan with the insights from someone who has done it multiple times.

About the instructor:

Eric Gibson, a Louisiana native, is an active producer, writer, director, and actor. Eric is a passionate filmmaker who has sold and distributed multiple films including Devil's Acid, Room 203, Cabin Girl, #ChadGetsTheAxe, and Incantation.  Most importantly, he is the proud father to three children and two cats. His favorite hangout is at the crafty table and once while filming at a haunted location he was attacked by a ghost.
