    Read three novels by late nineteenth/early twentieth century regional writers. My Antonia, by Willa Cather, tells the story of an immigrant girl in Nebraska. The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, concerns a young wife living on Grand Isle, Louisiana. The Age of Innocence, by Edith Wharton, takes us into the society of "Old New York" during the Gilded Age.

    Workshop participants will require copies of the two novels under discussion.
