Your score on the Scholastic Assessment Test is one of the most important factors determining admission to the college of your choice. This test preparation course, used by over 700 educational institutions nationwide, is designed to help maximize your score. It concentrates on the test-taking skills that are critical for good performance on the SAT. The course utilizes a proven, five-step approach to large score improvements – diagnostic test; verbal and math review; question-types and strategies; practice test reinforcement; and final test review.
The course also focuses on time-saving methods, critical thinking skills, and mathematical problem solving abilities. Materials are provided by Cambridge Educational Services, the nation’s #1 campus-based test prep, and include textbooks and actual tests. Instructors are thoroughly trained, carefully selected and evaluated. Please have a calculator in class.

Before you can make an appointment for your road test, you must first complete an approved pre-licensing safe driving course. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate to present when you make your road test appointment. Certificates are valid for one year.
These classes will be offered virutally on zoom. Arrive fifteen minutes early to class. No late arrivals will be allowed. You will need to provide a scanned copy of your permit through email to make sure your certificate has the correct information. You will be emailed a zoom link and course instructions upon registration.

This Driver Education course is approved by the New York State Education Department. Successful completion of the class entitles you to receive an MV285. State regulations require that students fulfill the attendance requirement for this certificate or they will not be issued an MV285. Check with your own insurance company for benefits and incentives that they provide for students with the MV285 driver education certificate. Attendance at ALL classes is mandatory. One makeup session for an excused absence is allowed for an additional $25 fee. The date for this make-up session will be announced at a later date. To report an absence, please contact Continuing Education at 607-778-5012 the day of the absence.
Student information will be emailed upon registration. In your packet is a parent permission agreement. This must be brought to the required parent/student meeting.. The dates and times for the mandatory parent/student information session are listed below. . Students must be 16 years of age and have their learner’s permit prior to the parent’s meeting. Register early to ensure your seat in the program. Refunds accepted until the day after the parent meeting.

Get ready to have a deliciously fun time this summer at our first Junior Chef kids cooking program. For kids ages 8-15, the focus will be on basic cooking and baking skills, as well as kitchen safety. Each day will have a theme, and kids will get their hands dirty preparing everything from pasta to cookies and tacos. Allergy accommodations can be made upon request. Students must bring a hat, an apron, and a water bottle to class each day. Students should wear long pants and sneakers. No open-toed shoes allowed! Parent information and permission forms will be sent upon registration. Registration/cancellation deadline is July 22th. Registration is limited.
Monday: Safety & cleaning; make traditional pasta, gnocchi, and tomato sauce with garlic bread and meatballs.
Taco Tuesday: Make chicken and beef tacos with fresh salsa and Spanish rice. Finish with making chocolate tacos.
Picnic Wednesday: Make pasta salad, tea sandwiches, fruit kabobs, and sun butter crunch bars and have a picnic for lunch in the Culinary and Event Center upstairs.
Baking Thursday: Make Oreo ice cream cake, no bake cheesecake. We will also make homemade baked chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese for lunch.
Pizza Friday: Make individual pizzas and popcorn. Sit back and enjoy the screening of the movie Ratatouille.
*Students that are COVID vaccinated are asked to submit their vaccination information. If your child is not vaccinated, they will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test and wear a mask.
