Using the last Kiowa Raid as a touchstone, students will be immersed in the lives and history of the Kiowa, learn how they differed from the Comanche, and discover the secret life of a Kiowa captive taken as a baby girl from the family farm on the West Fork of the Trinity River in 1867 and honored by the Kiowa for her bravery and tenacity to this day.
