  • Murder, mystery, and mayhem are great subjects for fall reading. We begin Sept. 14 with AS LONG AS WE BOTH SHALL LIVE (Joann Chaney), a wicked, masterful examination of a marriage gone very wrong, a marriage with lots of secrets; Oct. 12 we cover KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON (David Grann), a true tale in which the Osage Nation is being killed off, and the case is taken up by the newly-created FBI; Nov. 9 we move to A TEST OF WILLS (Charles Todd), the first Inspector Ian Rutledge mystery, as the Scotland Yard sleuth investigates a murder that is short on evidence and long on questions; Dec. 14th we discuss HOUSE RULES (Jodi Picoult), a story about a boy with Asperger's syndrome who is accused of murder as his family is thrown into a web of intolerance and misunderstanding.
