The Institute for Teaching Excellence: Middle School Math is committed to providing meaningful opportunities for middle school math teachers to develop pedagogical strategies for nurturing young mathematicians. In sessions led by various master teachers (and life-long learners), participants will explore content and process standards, focusing on cultivating students’ mathematical skills while enhancing their conceptual understanding. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for you to collaborate with other math educators committed to improving their craft and to equip you with classroom-ready activities and strategies that will cultivate competent, creative, and resilient problem-solvers.
