Genealogy in the Field
Although today you may do lots of genealogical research online - much family history is still only available in person. Taking your research out "in the field" is an adventure. I use my own trips and discoveries over the last 40 years to illustrate this. Session one is about my husband's family where "no one knew anything" and we will also talk about the value of cemeteries as resources. Session two focuses on my family history and we will also talk about the value of "getting a sense of place" by visiting areas where your ancestors lived.
