"This lecture will present information on one of our most vital resources: water. The lecture is presented by two water industry professionals. The lecture includes a brief primer on water and its sources for humans, water availability for North Texas, treatment and distribution of drinking water, treatment of wastewater to protect the environment, a look at how water is supplied to people, current issues affecting water supply, and challenges to adequate water supply for future generations. Co-presenter is Mary Gugliuzza of the Fort Worth Water Department."
