Two mini-classes in one! In this course we'll spend two weeks exploring cookies that take advantage of bright, fruity spring & summer flavors, including lemon, strawberry and apricot; we will also discuss shortcuts and tips for making warm-weather baking more appealing. For the second two weeks we will focus on cutout cookies, including demonstrations and hands-on decorating (bakers will be encouraged to bake cookies and then we will decorate them together during class). Suggested supply list and recipes will be provided in advance. Note: The first Baker's Dozen: Cookies class is not a prerequisite but helpful if you are not an experienced baker.
