Rutland Lectures

Welcome to our OLLI Rutland program. This semester's program will be six lectures and one musical event (seven total presentations), held from 1:30-3 pm on the following dates: 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 12/22, 12/29, 1/2, and 1/12.

All lectures EXCEPT the 1/2 lecture will be held at The Godnick Adult Center, 1 Deer Street, Rutland, VT.

The 1/2 lecture will be held at the Paramount Theater, 30 Center St, Rutland. Please note the different location and day of the week for this presentation.

Fall 2023 Half-year Membership
Fee: $90.00

OLLI membership is designed for people fifty or older with some connection to East Central Illinois or the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Fall Membership (July 1, 2023 - December 31, 2024) entitles the member to participate in OLLI classes, lectures, study groups, interest groups, trips, and special events both in person and online. (There are additional fees for courses and study groups, trips, and some special events.). Fall 2023 members are NOT eligible for a University of Illinois UIN, NetID, and i-Card (required for online access to select University of Illinois library materials).

Members who join prior to July 1, 2023 will be able to participate in OLLI activities from the time of purchase.

Former Governor Jim Douglas will present a program and discussion regarding Vermonters who have made contributions to the nation’s history. With this being the 100th anniversary of President Calvin Coolidge’s swearing–in as US president in his Vermont home, it is an extremely timely topic.
