*Students can purchase an optional JAM songbook from the instructor for an additional fee of $10 at the first meeting.
Have you always wanted to learn how to jam with others bluegrass-style? Join us for a supportive and welcoming journey into bluegrass-style jamming. Learn: gentle tempos, mistakes expected, full ground rules and etiquette of typical bluegrass jams, how to follow new songs without a printed page, how to find melodies, fake solos, carry a tune, how to lead songs, ear skills taught and emphasized, as in real bluegrass. Enrollment limited to 10.
Instructor Betsey Jacobs is an adult learner of guitar and banjo and enjoys bringing people together through music.
