Intro to Soft Pastel

Adding a new medium to your art can be exciting! Soft (chalk) pastel is a wonderful way to energize your art. You can use it alone or combine it with other technologies for beautiful creations. The fee will give you materials, and the class will give you the skills to use them. Materials fee $25; pay instructor at first meeting. Enrollment limited to 16.

Instructor Peggy Swartz has been an artist and teacher in Fairbanks for many years. She enjoys painting people and animals in pastel, charcoal, watercolor and scratchboard, often in combination.
