We will paint bottles, glassware, or jars with acrylic paint that you can take home and bake in your oven. Your project will then be permanent and washable. The instructor will provide plenty of glass choices, but you can also bring your own. Enrollment limited to 6.

Dry wool felting is an easy, fun, and versatile art form that anyone can do. Participants will learn techniques to make a two-dimensional picture and three-dimensional object out of wool. Materials fee $10; pay instructor at first meeting. Enrollment limited to 12.
Instructor Laurel Devaney enjoys volunteering with bird research projects in the summer and traveling to warm places and exploring various art forms in the winter months.

Do you ever set your glasses down and lose track of them? Beaded straps allow you to set them down across your neck and never lose them again! Learn how to make attractive, simple, fancy, or cool beaded straps for your eyeglasses. Bring the glasses or sunglasses you want them to fit on. All supplies are provided. This involves stringing beads; it is "close" work so bring appropriate eyewear. Enrollment limited to 6.

Soapmaking dates all the way back to 2800 BC evolving over the centuries from specialized craft to a luxury product to a mass produced item, and now soapmaking is returning to an artisan craft form. Learn the history, science, and artistry of soapmaking while making your own handcrafted soap. Each session will explore a different pouring technique where students will design their soap with the colors and scents of their choice. Materials fee: $35, pay instructor at meeting. Enrollment limited to 20.
Instructor MaryCatherine Moroney, owner and soap artisan of Cozy Crooked Cottage, has been creating and designing hand-crafted cold process soap and other spa items locally since 2020. She began her soap making journey as a way to bless her family and friends with individualized gifts, but this journey quickly developed into a passion that connected her love of learning, cooking, science, music, art, nurturing and engaging with the community.

In this 4-week course you will learn the basics of the art form known as Zentangle. You will learn the backstory of how Zentangle came to be, how to create "tangles" in an easy step-by-step system, and how to incorporate these tangles together to create tiles. Additionally, you will create a Zentangle-Inspired Art Journal. No drawing experience is necessary. Before you know it, you will be creating beautiful art!
