    Learn techniques to take control of your subconscious mind to enhance skills and let go of outdated beliefs and patterns. Learn about hypnosis, the subconscious mind, effective self hypnosis techniques, and how to craft effective auto suggestions for yourself. Experience group hypnosis and take from this course powerful tools that you can use to change your life in positive ways.
    Instructor James Conner, PHD, CCHT, is certified with the non-profit American Council of Hypnotist Examiners as a clinical hypnotherapist and master hypnotist. He also maintains a private practice in Fairbanks.

    Green Star of Interior Alaska will provide an overview of the landscape of recycling in the Interior, revealing “behind the scenes” at the Fairbanks North Star Borough Central Recycling Facility and the Green Star of Interior Alaska electronics recycling warehouse. We will also discuss future visions of recycling in the FNSB and answer questions Fairbanksans have about recycling. Facility fee $30; pay instructor at first meeting.

    Green Star of Interior Alaska is a local nonprofit serving the Fairbanks North Star Borough and Interior Alaskans. Our programs encourage reuse of materials, reduction of unnecessary waste, and increasing recycling efforts in our community.

    This course will review the 3 major balance systems of the body, explain how these system integrate to create stability and inform balance responses, provide screenings for participants, and explain general exercises and interventions to improve mobility related balance and stability. Enrollment limited to 20.
    Instructor Nick Rasmussen is a physical therapist at Fairbanks Health Partners Rehabilitation Services Clinic and has been practicing in the orthopedic, neurologic and vestibular disciplines for over 14 years. He is an avid runner, climber, and LEGO collector.
