The Large Scale Structure of the Observable Universe   

All the matter and energy we see from Earth is our observable universe. Discussion topics include a brief history of the discovery of galaxies and the Milky Way, the overall physical properties of galaxies and their constituents, “dark matter”, “dark energy”, the “Big Bang” scenario, and the formation of the first stars and galaxies and their subsequent evolution.
