OLLI will host a live online panel discussion with national and local experts examining critical issues facing the nation in the November mid-term election, including the impact of gerrymandering, unbridled fundraising, recent SCOTUS decisions and the Connecticut races to watch.
The program is open to everyone. It will be moderated by Larry Rifkin, former executive vice president of programming for CPTV for a quarter of a century, former talk show host on WATR's Talk of the Town, host of the popular weekly podcast America Trends, and an OLLI at UConn instructor.
Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance of the event to osher@uconn.edu.

Welcome to fun, engaging yoga movement sessions enhancing physical and mental well-being. Sessions will focus on standing, chair-assisted, and seated exercises. Yoga flow focuses attention to breath awareness, incorporating balance, strength, flexibility, stretching, endurance poses, and related exercises. This course offers an intro to Tai Chi, slow-flow, chair/standing, and guided Tai Chi Yang forms, enhancing mental and physical well-being. Sessions will focus on 8-24 Yang intentional slow-flow and similar style form/practices of Tai Ji Quan for posture, balance, joint awareness, and fall prevention.
