HOW TO KNIT A HAT: KNITTING FOR BEGINNERS   

"How to Knit a Hat; knitting for beginners"; 2 sessions, Tuesdays, 10/14 & 10/21, room 230 (or 228); participants will begin the project at the first session and complete it during the 2nd. The hats could be donated to a local charity. Participants will need to bring their own supplies. *Learn to knit a simple hat in the round - no seams! In just two sessions (with a little work in between), you'll have a beautiful, warm hat to wear, to give to a loved one, or to donate to charity. Students need to know how to cast on, knit and purl. Instructor will provide patterns in advance, and student can pick the pattern of their choice. All patterns will be worked on large circular needles using bulky or super-bulky yarn for quick makeup. Students will need to provide needles and yarn.
