During this field-based course, students will learn teaching strategies and tools developed by Ecology Project International and Professional Learning Sessions from BEETLES (University of California-Berkeley) for creating and delivering authentic science lessons aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Course meets in Yellowstone National Park and surround areas. Course is available for undergraduate or graduate credit. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.
Registration for this course is required through the sponsoring agency indicated below. The sponsoring agency charges a course registration fee.
Students wanting to earn academic credit from The University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee. This is a flat fee and not a per credit fee. Information about registering for academic credit will be provided by the sponsoring agency.
