This course is a bike powered tour of Montana geared to study energy issues and alternative energy systems in the Rocky Mountain West.
Course starts in Billings and ends in West Glacier with transportation provided to/from Missoula. Course is available for undergraduate credit only. This course is taught simultaneously with a companion course, NRSM 321 Field Studies of Energy Systems in Montana. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.

Students wanting to earn academic credit from The University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee. This is a flat fee and not a per credit fee. Information about registering for academic credit will be provided by the sponsoring agency.
