This course includes lectures and activities on plant succession, fire ecology, forest insects and disease, soil science and wildlife ecology. It traces the historical and current patterns of human utilization of forest resources beginning with Native Americans and continuing to current practices.
Course meets in Condon. Course is available for undergraduate credit only. Course is part of the Landscape & Livelihood Program. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.
