Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are the foundation of pre-hospital medical care in the United States. EMTs gain access to and assess patients, control bleeds, stabilize fractures, administer some medications, package patients and deliver them to higher levels of care. Upon successful completion of course requirements, students are eligible for the National Registry EMT and the State of Montana EMT certifications.
Course meets in various locations (see below). Course is available for undergraduate credit and traditional letter grading only. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.

Students wanting to earn academic credit from the University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee below.
