PTRM 356 Wilderness Rescue and Survival Skills   

Aerie Backcountry Medicine LogoTrain students in backcountry navigation, survival skills, search and rescue techniques, and high/low angle rope rescue appropriate for search and rescue work. This course is part of the Semester in Wilderness Medicine.

Course meets in various locations (see below). Course is available for undergraduate credit and traditional letter grading only. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.

Registration for this course is required through Aerie Backcountry Medicine, www.aeriemedicine.com or 406.542.9972. The sponsoring agency charges a course registration fee.

Students wanting to earn academic credit from the University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee below.
