JRNL 491 Building Blocks of Short Documentary  

PBS American Experience producer and former FRONTLINE editor, Eric Gulliver, will present his methods for constructing story in short documentary film. From scene development to post-production workflow, Eric will guide students through best practices for story editing. This workshop is designed for intermediate to advanced videographers and filmmakers looking to hone their post-productionskills to create more compelling short docs.

Course meets in Missoula. Course is available for undergraduate or graduate credit. Course is available for Credit/No-Credit grading only.

Registration for this course is required through a sponsoring agency. See registration contact information below. The sponsoring agency charges a course registration fee.

Students wanting to earn academic credit from the University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee. This is a flat fee and not a per credit fee. Information about registering for academic credit will be provided by the sponsoring agency.
