Since the start of 2020, there has been an ongoing race to understand the COVID-19 virus and its impacts on our world. During this process, one of the most difficult factors has been explaining how human behavior impacts the pandemic. The scientific discipline of psychology has much to offer in understanding the interface between the virus and the societies in which we live. In a series of informational videos, interviews, and links, this course explores some of the key, lingering questions about the pandemic from psychological perspectives. This course is offered as a non-credit course, though it is also designed to meet Continuing Education guidelines from Montana's Board of Behavioral Health and Board of Psychologists. In a fully online course, you will be introduced to faculty, graduate students, and affiliates of the University of Montana Department of Psychology as they attempt to explain the pandemic via understanding human behavior.
