This course covers the traditional seasonal rounds of the Salish. Students will read or review the seven essential understandings regarding Montana Indians; read a number of texts and view a film relating to the history of the Salish; respond to multiple writing prompts; complete instructional activities; and develop a specific teaching unit.
Course meets online. Course is available for graduate credit only. Credit earned in this course may not be used toward a graduate degree at the University of Montana. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.
