Students will develop an experiential and academic understanding of the geography of the Colorado Plateau; its resources, people, and climate.
This course is part of the Colorado Plateau: Desert Canyons and Cultures Field Seminar. Course meets online for the first five weeks and in southern Utah and northern Arizona for the remainder. Course is available for undergraduate credit only. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the transferability of courses to their degree-granting institution and intended major.

Students wanting to earn academic credit from The University of Montana must pay an additional $155 credit recording fee. This is a flat fee and not a per credit fee. Information about registering for academic credit will be provided by the sponsoring agency.
