Emotional Intelligence

There has been quite a buzz lately about IQ vs. EQ (intelligence quotient vs. emotional quotient.) Emotional Intelligence (EI) refers to the dimension of intelligence that helps us manage ourselves and our relationships. Research strongly suggests that the skills involved with high EI are primary for personal and professional success.

The great news is that EI can be improved with some interest, effort, and practice. You will assess your own EI and develop a personal plan for improvement and have plenty of opportunity to practice. In addition to the required book for class, you will be provided a bibliography of additional optional reading.

Here is a link to the required book on Amazon: Required book - please make sure to purchase the book “NEW” as it will provide an online access code for taking a personal assessment.
