Gayle Morrison is the author of Sky is Falling, a book about the fall of the CIA-Hmong air base in Laos in May 1975, and Hog's Exit, the story of Jerry Daniels, a Missoula smokejumper and pivotal CIA officer both during and after the Secret War in Laos.

About the presenter: Gayle has worked with the Hmong community in California since the mid-seventies in refugee services, education, business, and as a historian. She has traveled to Hmong refugee camps in Thailand and tribal villages in Laos. She has a BA in Sociology and a MA in Psychology. Her current Hmong research is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
