Monday, June 9
National Discovery Center

Lewistown, MT
Participants will receive a tour of the National Discovery Center. Participants will then partake in a no-host dinner to get to know their fellow participants.
Tuesday, June 10 – Wednesday, June 11
Antelope Creek Campground
From Lewiston, take Highway 191 north for 72 miles. Antelope Creek Campground will be off the highway on your left, between mile markers 96 and 97.
Tuesday – Participants will start the day with breakfast and a safety presentation. Participants will spend day hiking along a mostly flat nature trail. Participants will leave the trail to view plants, animals, bugs, and birds. Students will enjoy presentations on nature journaling, bison, the Wild Sky program, and making tea from native plants. The day will end with dinner on the prairie and viewing the evening sky.
Wednesday – Participants will start the day with breakfast. They will then collect game cameras and track plates for discussion. Aaniiih Nakoda Tours will provide a presentation regarding the history, traditions, and how to of Native Games. Participants will then have the opportunity to play the traditional Native Games.
Trip programs will range from lectures with interactive discussions to experiential outdoor learning. Members of MOLLI are welcome to register.

Dusty Rixford, Trip Educator
Dusty coordinates all logistics for the American Prairie Field School located at Antelope Creek Campground. She works closely with American Prairie field staff as well as Yellowstone Forever instructors to implement a year-long prairie science program.

George Horse Capture Jr.
Aaniiih Nakoda Tours
George is the tourism director for Discover Fort Belknap and Aaniiih Nakoda Tours. He is a former vice president of the Fort Belknap tribal council. He has knowledge in the Aaniiih and Nakoda cultures and history on the Fort Belknap Reservation.
Meals
Meals (two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner) are provided by the MOLLI program.
Lodging
Participants are responsible for their own lodging.
Lodging Options – Antelope Creek Campground (Please contact MOLLI office if interested in these accommodations)
- Cabin $73/night – All cabins have overhead lighting, outlets, AC/Heat. There are four cabins – three have two twin beds, and one has a queen bed. Participants will need to bring bedding (fitted sheet, blanket, and pillow, or sleeping bag and pillow). There is a bath house on site which features three bathrooms – two of these have a shower.
- RV Sites $38/night – RV sites include both 30 and 50A power. RV sites are pull-through and can fit a Class A motorhome plus a vehicle. There is a dumping station onsite.

Lodging Options – Lewistown (Participants may carpool to Antelope Creek Campground each morning. Trip educator will be traveling from Lewistown each morning.)
Note: Lodging at Antelope Creek Campground and in Lewistown are only suggestions. You may choose to stay wherever suits you best.
Costs
Costs include five meals per person (two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner), as well as facility, programming, and staff fees.

Transportation
Participants will arrange their own transportation to and from Lewistown and Antelope Creek Campground, arriving in Lewistown by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27, 2024.

Cancellation Policy
Please read carefully:
- If a registrant cancels on or before May 9, 2025, a refund will be issued within 60 days minus a 7.5% administrative fee.
- If a registrant cancels after May 9, no refunds will be issued. Registrants may, however, designate a replacement for this trip at the time of cancellation.
- Registrants are strongly encouraged to purchase accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance through a travel agent or other provider. Travel insurance can help protect against financial loss in case of an emergency.
- If this trip fails to meet the minimum enrollment by May 9, 2025, it will be canceled and full refunds will be issued to all registrants within 60 days.
