Learn how to move a group away from just talking about what they want to do and into action - from picking the challenge they need to address, all the way through implementation. This 8-week course begins with 6 asynchronous weeks where you learn the Ten Skills for Agile Leadership and then builds on them with 4 live sessions, including an extended simulation. Ideally suited if you need to help a team collaborate effectively or to build a new network. These skills help you move your group quickly through new ways of thinking, behaving, and doing. The course includes videos, discussion forums, short quizzes, and assignments.
This online course format from the Agile Strategy Lab at the University of North Alabama delivers the same learning outcomes and is equivalent to the 2.5 day in-person training that has been offered throughout the US and Canada (with a number of European sessions to boot). Now, no matter where you live, you can take part in this practical and accessible learning experience.
- Format: online, first six weeks asynchronous (learn on your own schedule) followed by live 2-hour sessions (June 29: 1 - 3 pm Eastern, July 1: 1 - 3 pm Eastern, July 6 : 1 - 3 pm Eastern, July 8th: 1 - 3 pm Eastern )
- Prerequisite: none
- Course length: 8 weeks
- Time required: ~2-3 hours/week for all activities
- Credential: certificate documenting 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs); participants completing all assignments with 80% or higher grade are awarded an electronic credential or “badge” as a Strategic Doing “Practitioner”, for use on LinkedIn or other social media.
