Intermediate Sewing Supplies
- Sewing machine – a basic sewing machine suitable for beginners, with essential features like straight and zigzag stitches
- Sewing machine needles – assorted pack including universal needles suitable for various fabric types
- Thread – high-quality sewing threads in basic colors like black, white, and beige
- Fabric scissors – sharp scissors designated for cutting fabric
- Paper scissors
- Measuring tape – flexible tape measure for taking accurate body and fabric measurements
- Pins and pin cushion – straight pins with a pin cushion for safe storage
- Seam ripper – tool used to remove stitches easily and accurately
- Seam guage
- Tailor's chalk or fabric marking pen

- Thimble – optional but recommended for sewing to protect fingers
