Project Management Certificate  

Project Management is one of the most rapidly growing professions in America. Certified project management skills are now required by many employers and preferred by most.

Our 35-hour certificate course prepares you to be an effective member of a company’s project management team. It covers the processes and best practices for the 10 knowledge domains of project management. Whether you are trying to enter the workforce with competitive project management skills or you are seeking to strengthen your business acumen and professional gravitas, this course is for you! Additionally, if you are planning to take PMI®’s CAPM® or PMP® Exams, this course provides the education hours you need to qualify for the exam.

Learning Objectives

  • Introduce students to the fundamental concepts, processes and tools of project management, in accordance with the internationally recognized standards published by the Project Management Institute.
  • Introduce students to the array of project management credentials they can pursue during their careers, and how the certifications can strengthen their marketability and income in many industries.
  • Join a project management team.
  • Qualify student to apply for and take the CAPM® exam, if so desired.

  • Current and aspiring leaders seeking to strengthen their business acumen and professional gravitas by learning project management best practices.
  • Practicing project managers seeking the required instructional hours to sit for the PMP® certification examination.
  • Recent high school graduates who are interested in pursuing CAPM® certification.

No prior project management experience is required.

Course Information

Students will be awarded a Certificate of Program Completion and 3.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successfully completing the course. Successful completion includes attending eleven of the fourteen sessions and earning a 75% or better on the graded components: end-of-lesson quizzes, exams, and homework assignments.
