Headquartered in Ponte Vedra, the organization proudly stands as the nation’s largest provider of trained service dogs to veterans. Since its inception in 2011, this remarkable program has paired over 1,000 veterans with loyal service dogs and rescued more than 2,000 dogs from shelters. During an immersive 21-day on-campus training program, veterans and their new canine companions learn and practice essential skills together. Your tour kicks off at the Shari Duval campus where you hear about the organization’s mission and impact. Then you’re introduced to the impressive Davis Family Mega Kennel and the Duffield Veterinary Clinic. You’ll tour the main campus, meet some of the service animals, and watch a demonstration at the Training Center. Debrief over a Dutch-treat lunch at Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill. Venue is accessible, and additional accommodations can be made with advanced notice. Cameras welcome with some restrictions. Transportation is on your own.
