Splendor of India, Nepal and Bhutan: Forts, Palaces, Mountains and Monasteries   

In the words of Rudyard Kipling, “And the dreams you have in Kew, are the facts in Katmandu!” Discover Explore magnificent faraway lands rich in beauty, history and natural wonder. Encounter India’s Mughal empire including its cuisine. Discover the forts and palaces of Rajasthan. Visit the Taj Mahal, one of the world’s seven wonders. Learn about the rugged beauty of Ladakh in the disputed Kashmir region.  Your next stop is Nepal, its glorious mountains and valleys. Investigate the Himalayas, home to some of the highest peaks on the planet, and its national parks. Visit Chitwan National Park’s rhinos and the kingdoms of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan. You journey to Pokhara, once an important location on a trading route between China and India, now Nepal’s capital of tourism. It features a majestic landscape encompassing mountains and lakes. Conclude with Bhutan, a country that created a nine-point Gross National Happiness index to advance sustainable development that gives equal importance to progress and non-economic aspects of wellbeing.
