Discover how to turn your idea into a fun, exciting new program for an upcoming term, even if you’ve never taught or led a course before. Learn the critical components of an effective course for adult learners, and the variety of learning and instruction methods and styles that can be used. Find out what it takes to plan and share a program that actively engages your participants and leaves them wanting more. This is a hands-on workshop. The facilitators help you brainstorm ideas, provide resources, walk you through the process and support you all along the way. You’re invited to bring ideas and potential materials to this session and receive feedback and personal assistance to help you bring your idea to life! Current instructors and facilitators are also invited to update or develop new materials.
