Before the Beginning: Origin of the World in the Vedic Tradition   

The Vedas are the ancient texts of Hinduism considered to be part of the world’s oldest religion. These Vedic scriptures contain numerous texts of extraordinary variety and incomparable richness, aiming to explore the mystery of the beginnings and explain the immensity and harmony of the universe. The Vedic texts offer profound insights into the mystery of reality. They originate from experiences beyond logical reasoning, presenting a religious expression that provides some explanations while also raising additional questions. Explore various mythological stories from traditional India, focusing on the Vedas, the earliest Hindu scriptures, and the first major work in any Indo-European language. Topics include the origins of Hinduism, diverse and complex mythological creation accounts, the Vedic perspective on creation, and key texts related to creation. Your curiosity and interest are the only prerequisites.
