Step into Florida’s storied history with a guided tour of two of Volusia County’s most treasured and celebrated landmarks: the world-renowned Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and the newly restored Constance D. Hunter Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum. Begin your adventure at the lighthouse, a towering beacon built in 1887 that has guided mariners along Florida’s coast for more than 135 years. As Florida’s tallest lighthouse and one of the nation’s best-preserved light stations, it offers a fascinating glimpse into maritime history. An expert docent provides an immersive tour of the light station’s historic grounds and exhibits. After the lighthouse tour, enjoy a relaxing pre-selected lunch at Hidden Treasures Restaurant, conveniently located just across the street. After lunch, continue your journey through time with a visit to the Constance D. Hunter Historic Pacetti Hotel Museum. Officially opened to the public in summer 2024, this beautifully restored structure is one of the oldest in Volusia County and a rare example of late-1800s Florida Cracker architecture. Following the guided tours, you have free time to explore at your own pace—including the opportunity to climb to the top of the lighthouse for breathtaking views. Venues are not fully accessible. Consult https://www.ponceinlet.org for details. Cameras welcome. Transportation is on your own, but we can help arrange carpooling. Free parking on site.
