Your active participation and active listening are essential to understanding all sides of a story. Broadening of your perspectives requires respect for opinions of others and ensuring all who’d like to contribute can do so. Bring at least one news article or other interesting topic to class each week for discussion. Your facilitator assists by keeping the discussion on track and open to all.
