College football’s playoff era is entering its ninth season. The designated number of participants in this activity will join the facilitator in forming a faux CFP selection committee. Using a process like that of the real committee, participants will select and rank a weekly top 25 from mid-season on, culminating in the final four that should be in the playoff for the national championship. The art of selecting and ranking teams can be based on several criteria. The fun is in the process of collecting and analyzing information, assessing the outcomes of regular season games, applying the criteria, voting to determine rankings and comparing decisions with those of the real CFP committee.
