Welcome to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNR! Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, OLLI at UNR is a spirited community of seasoned adults who gather to explore new interests, share ideas and make friends. Distinguished professors and knowledgeable instructors volunteer their expertise in programs and activities spanning such diverse topics as art, current events, economics, health, history, literature, music, science, travel, theatre and writing. There are no grades, no tests and no pressure at OLLI. We welcome every adult learner regardless of previous educational experience. An annual membership fee of $85 covers attendance at as many programs and activities you choose to attend, including: * 150+ learning experiences every semester - in person at our Moana Campus - online via Zoom - outdoors throughout the Reno-Tahoe area * social and cultural programs * special events, field trips and a host of other enriching activities. FREE TOUR: Tracy Power Station

Join OLLI for a guided tour of the Frank A. Tracy Power Generating Station, located on the Truckee River approximately 17 miles east of Sparks. The power plant is a 12 unit 1,021-megawatt gas-fired station located in Storey County, Nevada, and owned by NV Energy. Some peaking capacity is provided by diesel powered units. Tour registrants will meet at the power plant and pass through NV Energy's security station prior to the tour.

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: On April 14-15, send an email to ollirenoprereg@gmail.com with Tracy Power Plant in the subject line. Include your name and phone number. You may also include the name & number of another OLLI member if you want to attend together. Please give the time of the tour you want to attend, 10am only, 1pm only, or either. Tours are limited to 20 members each. A lottery will be held to fill available slots if demand exceeds availability.
