Registration Options   

Please select from one of the options below for detailed instructions on how to Register for an upcoming program. Scroll down to view offerings that require registration / tour sign-up.  

If you Register for an upcoming program, it guarantees that you will be able to attend. It's based on seat availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you select Tour Sign-Up, you will be placed on a sign-up list for an upcoming Tour at OLLI at UNR. This list ensures that every participant is given a fair opportunity to participate in an upcoming tour. Signing-up for the tour does not guarantee participation. Confirmation details will be provided individually once the tour deadline has closed.

    Join us for a docent-led walking tour of the historic Westside District of Carson City. The tour will feature landmarks including Victorian-style homes, museums, and churches. Each stop adds to the story of the capital city’s rich history. The tour involves approximately 1 ½ hours of walking and is wheelchair accessible. Following the walking tour there will be an optional order-off-the-menu lunch at the Westside Pour House. 

    TOUR SIGN-UP REQUIRED: Mark your calendars. Tour sign-up open Friday, May 3 and will close Friday, May 10. Tour size is limited to 20 members. A lottery will be held to fill available slots if demand exceeds availability. Click Here for Tour Sign-up Instructions.

Learn the principles of FireWise gardening, and the importance of implementing them in your own landscape. Explore ways to deter fire, and determine the risk of wildfire near your own home. See beautiful examples of FireWise landscaping (because it doesn't have to be boring!)
