Planned giving is about connecting philanthropic goals with financial and estate planning priorities. In this session, we will explore several provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that passed in 2025, how they impact philanthropic decision making, and several recent charitable planned gifts made to the University. We will learn about the mechanics of Charitable Gift Annuities, IRA Qualified Distributions, Will & Trust Provisions, Life Insurance, Appreciated Stock, and Charitable Remainder Trusts. Now, more than ever, gifts of non-cash assets and blended gift options can lead to smarter planned giving. -
