Ages 14 – 18 | Kim Bishop & Alex Chambley Get a feel for the college art school life in this one week-long drawing studio intensive. Students will engage in the study of art within the UTSA college studio environment while working in the drawing lab, printmaking lab and photography lab at UTSA’s Main Campus Art Building. Students will work with artists, UTSA School of Art faculty and art professors Kim Bishop (Assistant Director to the UTSA Young Artist Programs) and Alex Chambley to build a solid foundation in contemporary drawing with a variety of processes and mediums. Each day will be filled with discussions about artists, by artists and professors, with lots of drawing and printmaking in the college studios! Students will be escorted to the UTSA Food Court daily for lunch. Lunch is not included but snacks and water will be available daily. This art school experience will conclude with an exhibition open to family.
