Saturday Morning Discovery (SMD) is a free, introductory art experience designed for children ages 5 – 14 and their parent or guardian. This program provides family fun and collaborative learning by awakening a passion for art. During this exploratory learning participants have a hands-on opportunity to work one-on-one with artist-teachers in a wide variety of media, including pin hole photography, clay, drawing, painting, origami, weaving, printmaking, sessional crafts, and more.
Families can sign up for one session per year.
Parents or guardians work along side their child during the activities and must remain with their child/children at all times.
Classes take place on the UTSA Southwest Campus at 300 Augusta St.
