As the number of children and adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder continues to increase, so does the need for specially trained and credentialed professionals and caregivers in the area of applied behavior analysis.
This training is based on the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) 3rd Edition Task List and is designed to fulfill the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT credential. Please note that this program is offered independently of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Course Information
Full payment is due at the time of enrollment.
A welcome email will be sent during the week of the workshop’s start date. This email will include course details and meeting links. Your instructor will be copied and available to answer any questions regarding the workshop.
Withdraws, Transfers & Cancellations
Please send your request to withdraw, transfer, or cancel to pace@utsa.edu. Students must send UTSA notice of withdrawal in writing/email.
A full refund (minus $50 processing fee) will be granted if you cancel the week before that start of the workshop. Withdrawals/Transfers will not be accepted once the course week has begun. Failure to attend classes or verbal notification will not be regarded as an official notice of withdrawal. A $25 transfer fee will be charged per class for changes made by students.
Refunds are processed only in the format payment was received. Payments made by credit cards will be refunded only to the card used for payment.
Technology Requirements and Support
• Computer with a web camera and speakers/earbuds/headphones. You can use your own personal device (laptop or desktop). Camera must be on during live sessions.
• Internet access. Wired or reliable connection recommended for online exams and assignments.
• Google Chrome is the recommended browser. Issues may happen if using Internet Explorer or Safari, especially with Canvas and Panopto. In case you are having trouble opening or accessing content, clear the cache and try a different browser.
