This uniquely organized week-long summer workshop University of Texas at San Antonio-Main Campus will offer educators a multidisciplinary graduate-school-like experience without the stress and sleepless nights. Educators will be immersed in a variety of art educational and cultural philosophies, methods and strategies with an emphasis on applications to the classroom, community building techniques, and art studio practice. This workshop format will be structured with discussions, artist presentations, and lectures each morning, followed by collegiate studio times each afternoon in painting & drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and photography led by UTSA faculty. Educators will leave with new ways of thinking about their curriculum, innovative techniques in art making, 30 hours of CE credit, and a new community of like-minded colleagues. Lunches will be provided.
