Explore devised theater with Turnip Ensemble Theater at this FREE Devised Theater Workshop on September 13, 2-4pm at the Amy Shelton McNutt Historical Arts Center (300 Augusta St, San Antonio, TX, 78205). Open to ages 16 and up (with a parent or guardian), this workshop will present an introduction to the tools and methods the Turnip ensemble uses to create brand new, original theater performances using words, stories, and movement. Participants will be introduced to Turnip's current in-process project and invited to enter the theater-making process by sharing their own perspectives, stories, and experiences as vital contributors to the piece.
No age limit for any of these, but minors should attend with an adult.
