CPR-BLS/Bloodborne Pathogens   

This course provides the required BLS for Healthcare Providers and the Bloodborne Pathogens certifications offered through the American Heart Assocation.  One class, two certifications!

• AHA BLS-for Healthcare Providers certification course teaches basic life support skills for application in both in-facility and pre-hospital settings, with a focus on high-quality CPR, improvement of chest compression fraction, and high-performing team dynamics.
• AHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood - containing materials.

ATTENTION:  All students attending an Allied Health program in the Division of Workforce Training are required to receive the BLS for Healthcare Provider and AHA Bloodborne Pathogens certifications.
